Socialite Lydia Hearst-Shaw is no "Mean Girl."

The heiress-turned-model took to Twitter to refute rumors that she plans to play a Lindsay Lohan-like character in an upcoming satirical biopic based on the embattled starlet's life.

"Just so we are all clear, my hair is red because I am the new face of Schwarzkopf color," Hearst-Shaw tweeted. "I am a model. I dyed my hair to front the campaign."

She added, "At this time I am not officially signed onto any other projects."

Screenwriter Charles Casillo, who is linked to the comedy "Dogs in Pocketbooks," recently told the New York Post that the 26-year old would play a "bratty movie goddess in and out of rehab ... obviously based on Lindsay Lohan."

The Lohan clan bristled at the thought of Lilo's likeness hitting the big screen and mulled legal action, with mom Dina Lohan claiming they had a "strong case" against the film's producers.

"They are again using her likeness without her being compensated. ... Not only that, but they are advertising the fact that the yare using her likeness," family attorney Stephanie Ovadia told TMZ on Monday.

But Casillo said he meant no disrespect to the troubled actress, who is currently a patient at the Betty Ford Center.

"[The movie] is no way mean-spirited towards Lindsay," Casillo told the Post. "It's the kind of thing she has spoofed about herself in the past. It's more of a satire about the crazy people around her and the situation they generate. It satirizes the obsession with modern celebrity."

Smoke-Free Jail Will Kill Lilo?

Lindsay Lohan's close friends are concerned that LiLo won't survive a single day in jail without the one thing she can't live without ... cigarettes.

As TMZ previously reported, the jail where Lindsay is extremely likely to do time is the same all-female facility where Paris got locked up in 2007 -- the same place with a serious zero tolerance no-smoking policy.

Bad news for Lindsay -- because according to one of her close friends, the jail-bound actress is a "serious chain-smoker" who blows through at least two packs a day. We're told, "The first thing she does when she wakes up is light a cigarette."

The source adds, "I'm honestly scared for [Lindsay] ... I don't think she's gone a day without smoking in years. This isn't something she can stop overnight. It's a serious condition."

But here's the upside ... if Lindsay does head to Lynwood on July 20 -- and chances are she will -- it could be exactly what she needs to kick her nasty habits ... or at least one of them.

Putting the best face on an absolutely disastrous situation, retailers and analysts suggest that Lindsay Lohan's troubles could be good for her new apparel collection.

Lohan's line, called 6126, launched online Wednesday, the same day a judge sentenced the troubled actress to 90 days in jail for violating conditions of her probation.

Bad news?

Not when it comes to sales, which are expected to be $5 million a year. An article in Women's Wear Daily speculates the notoriety could boost interest.

"Lindsay has mind share right now, so people will be interested to see what the merchandise looks like," retail analyst Jeff Vansinderen of B. Riley & Co. tells WWD.

"At the end of the day it may not hurt, and it could even help sales in an ironic and twisted way."

Hollywood celebrity favorite - Kitson stores have reportedly ordered about $15,000 worth of Lohan's line for July.

Since it's expected that Lohan will only serve about three weeks behind bars, Kitson owner Fraser Ross says LiLo could be released just as her clothes hit stores. WWD reports Kitson earlier launched Paris Hilton's line in 2007 only weeks after her jail stint, and "her appearance at the shop drew so many fans that the street had to be shut down."

Was Lindsay Lohan drunk at the MTV awards? Well, that still remains a mystery amidst mixed reports.

According to RadarOnline.com, Lohan's alcohol level ranged from .03 to .04 from midnight to 3 a.m. on June 6 in the hours following the awards.

Judge Marsha Revel of Los Angeles Superior Court had recently ordered Lohan not to consume alcohol as part of her terms of bail.

The 'Mean Girls' star's alcohol levels were apparently contained in a report prepared by SCRAM officials for the judge after her bracelet registered the presence of alcohol.

"There was absolutely no doubt that Lindsay was drinking, and the report that the alcohol monitoring service provided to Judge Revel was very detailed and extremely reliable," the New York Post quoted a source as saying.

On the other hand, according to TMZ.com Lohan was not drunk at all.

Shawn Chapman Holley said Lohan recorded a negative urine test at LA's County Probation Department on June 7.

Moreover, denying all allegations, the star has tweeted on twitter.com that it was not possible for the ankle bracelet to have tested positive.

"My scram wasn't set off-Its physically impossible considering I've nothing for it to go of. All of these false reports are absolutely wrong," she wrote.

RadarOnline also mentioned that the possibility of Lohan's bracelet being tampered with.

"The report also says that Lohan's SCRAM bracelet had indeed been tampered with, and this is one of the reasons that Judge Revel determined that Lindsay violated terms of her bail," the source said.

The hearing for Lindsay's probation violation is scheduled for July 6 in Los Angeles. (ANI)

While Lindsay is on a mission to prove that she did not set off her SCRAM bracelet this past Sunday night, we figured we'd give the girl a break and help her brainstorm how get out of this one. And based on her past history, her explanation is bound to be a doozy.

1. The black guy did it!

Grand theft auto? Kidnapping? Not if Linds has anything to say about it! Back in 2007, La Lohan spent a night partying with her then assistant and a couple of the assistant's pals—including one lucky dude named Dante—when L.L.'s assistant quit. Oh no you don't...

According to the lawsuit, this allegedly resulted in a high speed chase (in Dante's Denali) down the PCH, with Linds in the driver's seat supposedly yelling "I can't get in trouble. I'm a celebrity. I can do whatever the f--k I want!"

The cops didn't feel the same way so LiLo (unsuccessfully) tried to pin the whole ordeal on her reported helpless passenger, Dante.

2. Those aren't my pants!

After L.L. tried to claim "the black kid" was driving, cops found cocaine in her jeans pocket. But hey, not her pants, no problem right? "I am wearing a pair of borrowed jeans from a friend/assistant," Lindsay wrote in her statement after being booked. "She wore a pair of my jeans." Of course! Cocaine is something Lindsay frowns upon.

3. My passport was stolen!

Linds has some serious F.O.M.O (fear of missing out) because not even a judge could get in the way of the bloated brunette and her Cannes parties, sorry, promotion. After being ordered to appear in court, Lindsay still went yacht hopping in France, missing her flight back to the states. But it wasn't her fault!

"My passport's been stolen. It's clearly an inside person who works with my father that has been sent to set me up. He's been threatening me."

4. That's a set up!

"I wasn't looking around the room, I thought I was just taking a picture with a fan."

While on her tour-de-force party spree in Cannes, a photo surfaced of L.L. and her signature pout posing next to what appeared to be a platter of cocaine. But hold the judgment! Lindsay the martyr was just obliging some fans who asked if they could take a pic with the hard-working actress (in their hotel room). She agreed, made herself comfy, and happened to overlook the suspicious white substance a foot in front of her.

5. It's the paparazzi's fault!

No way was it alcohol that gave L.L. her first DUI: "My car accident that I got into, where I got my first charge, I wouldn't have been speeding up like I was if I didn't have people shoving cameras in my windows. I was running away from the paparazzi."

If that wasn't rude enough, the paps were also to blame for her first arrest warrant last year when she missed an alcohol class, and then the shutterbugs used their secret telepathic powers to push L.L. into a cactus after a night of partying out in Hollywood.

We miss Lindsay's more creative excuses, but blaming the cameras (they can be invasive, but really?) is the Lohan go-to. Since paparazzi aren't allowed in clubs, what will her reason be for setting off her SCRAM bracelet this past Sunday?

Lindsay Lohan has turned to caffeine for her latest kicks, and spent the holiday downing can after can of Red Bull.

The newly sober starlet -- who was banned from drinking alcohol by a judge and ordered to wear a Scram monitoring bracelet -- partied with pals including British actress and reality star Lady Victoria Hervey during Memorial Day weekend.

Friends say Lohan lives on eight cans of Red Bull a day, followed by Coca-Cola, and chain-smokes cigarettes. After spending Saturday sunbathing with Hervey at Pacific Palisades, she tweeted: "Red Bull and waters and work -- my new bff's hehe. Everyone should try it! It's more fun -- you'll see."

Lohan and aristocrat Hervey -- who is set to appear in the next season of Tinsley Mortimer's show "High Society"-- have become close friends after hanging out together at the Cannes Film Festival.

Sources tell us Lohan, who kept her alcohol-monitoring bracelet covered up under a pair of knee-high boots, is really trying hard to mend her ways. One told us, "Lindsay finally realizes the seriousness of the situation she faces. She doesn't want to go to jail and she wants her career back. She is trying to surround herself with people who are a good influence instead of the usual enablers."

Lady Victoria is said to be a good influence because she's seen the perils of drugs. Her half-brother John Hervey, the 7th Marquess of Bristol, was a heavy drug user and died in 1999 of AIDS-related illnesses.

But Lohan's new clean act has yet to open doors for her in Hollywood. She tried to check into the plush Sunset Tower Hotel for the weekend, but was refused. An onlooker told us, "The front desk manager told Lindsay they were full. But she wouldn't take no for an answer and kept insisting the Internet said there was room. She even insisted the front desk call the owner Jeff Klein, but he was not available, and was again told 'Sorry, no room.' So she stormed off."

In truth, this is Lindsay Lohan's reaction to pretty much anything. Point fingers, blame others, lie through her teeth and live in denial. Whatever works!

She's already accused her dad of ganking her passport, stranding her in Cannes. But when there's no easy scapegoat around ... just scream "set up!"

The troubled star, already causing problems for the L.A. County penal system by failing to show up in court this week, is now in even more hot water.

A photo surfacing on TMZ showing Lindsay partying with a strange white powder in the foreground could potentially mean more probation violations.

If nothing else, it's another sign Lindsay's going to die if she's not careful:

Lindsay Lohan allegedly does coke with a couple of peeps.

A spokesperson for the L.A. County D.A.'s office says this won't be brought up in court Monday, when Lindsay has been ordered to appear before the judge.

The spokesperson says there is no way the pic can be used in court because you could never prove what was on the table (despite it obviously being coke).

So she's in the clear ... on this one minor issue.

The warrant for her arrest earlier this week was rescinded after she posted bail, but Lohan still has to account for not complying with her probation terms.

Her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, lambasted TMZ and others, saying "It is difficult for Lindsay to get a fair shake because her every move is chronicled by TMZ and others. This creates an unavoidable frenzy around her case."

"It subjects her to a level of scrutiny which non-celebrities do not face."

America's anti-sweetheart made quite the splash this week, and if you didn't keep abreast of every poor life decision, bench warrant, flimsy excuse or court order that followed her over the last seven days, then congratulations, you have a life and well-placed priorities.

Which puts you one up on us and Lindsay Lohan, respectively.

That's right, Hurricane Lindsay blew through both Los Angeles and Cannes this week, and left pretty much everything she touched worse for wear. Let's sift through the wreckage together, shall we?

She started off the week strong, or at least strong-armed, hurling drinks at exes and then flying over to the Cannes Film Festival on an ultimately ill-advised trip to get photographed with what appeared to be cocaine tour luxury yachts promote her forthcoming porn star flick. Unfortunately, she also lost her passport, missed a court hearing, offered up one of the flimsiest excuses on record, had a bench warrant issued for her arrest, ponied up enough of her $100,000 bail to avoid arrest and got her court date rescheduled for Monday morning, for which her presence will most definitely be required. And she still managed to find time to hate on her dad! And party! That Lindsay. She always was a multitasker.

Lindsay Lohan is to play Linda Lovelace

Lindsay Lohan is to play a porn star in an independent movie. The 24-year-old has landed the lead role of 1970s x-star Linda Lovelace – who found fame in 1972 flick Deep Throat – according to one of the film’s producers, Wali Razaqi.

Razaqi told The Los Angeles Times that Bill Pullman will portray Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner in the period drama, which is called Inferno.The film will be based on the events of Lovelace’s life and will delve into the “difficult stuff she went through and overcame,” Razaqi said.

The producer said he and director Matthew Wilder are confident that Mean Girls star Li-Lo will deliver. “I would say it’s probably one of the most challenging roles any actor could play – and not because of the sexual content, necessarily – but more because she was so battered and beat up emotionally, that I think it’s gonna take everything Lindsay has to really be able to pull it off,” he said.

“Not that Lindsay’s life is similar in any way – but she’s been through a lot of ups and downs. A lot of times you’re loved and then you’re hated, and I think she can relate to those emotions and feelings.”

Razaqi added that an official announcement about the casting will be made at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.

Lohan and De Niro in Machete clip

Lindsay Lohan and Robert De Niro brandish high-powered weapons in a newly-released clip from the forthcoming movie Machete.

Filmmaker Robert Rodriguez released the trailer to show he is no fan of Arizona's controversial new immigration law.

The two-minute trailer touches on themes of illegal immigration and shows Danny Trejo introduce the clip before being tricked by a shady senator, and then seeks revenge on the lawmaker.

In the clip, Trejo says the trailer is "a special Cinco de Mayo message to Arizona".

It shows Trejo wielding knives and co-stars Robert, Cheech Marin and Li-Lo brandishing weapons.

Fox spokesman Chris Petrikin says the clip is not a theatrical trailer, but something Rodriguez put together for movie fan site Aintitcool.com to commemorate Cinco de Mayo, a Mexican holiday commemorating the Mexican army's victory over French forces in 1862.

Machete, also starring Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba and Steven Seagal, is due for release in September.

Ungaro's Cost of hiring Lindsay

According to industry sources, British designer Giles Deacon has been hired as the new creative head at Ungaro, following a long and painful downward spiral at the fashion house.

Young and promising designer Esteban Cortezar exited last year, presumably because he didn’t want to work with troubled "it girl" Lindsay Lohan, who in turn was hired to collaborate with the Spanish unknown, Estrella Archs in Cortezar’s stead.

What came out of this partnership was a collection shown at Paris fashion week last fall, which was almost unanimously pulled to pieces by the press and deemed a "disaster" by the brand’s founder, Emanuel Ungaro (who nowadays isn’t involved in the house’s affairs).

Since then, Ungaro’s CEO, Mounir Moufarrige, Lohan, and finally Estrella Archs all exited – voluntarily or not – with the latter quitting after rumours surfaced concerning Deacon’s possible succession.

Now it has been confirmed by trusted fashion journalist, Jason Campbell (JC Report) via Twitter that Deacon has indeed entered Ungaro’s revolving door. First results of this brave man’s work will be seen at the upcoming spring/summer shows Paris this fall. – AFP Relaxnews

Lindsay to face lawsuit by Photographer

LONDON - Actress Linday Lohnan’s troubles are mounting - the actress is embroiled in a lawsuit from a photographer alleging she hasn’t paid him for pictures he took for her fashion line.

Photographer Scott Nathan filed papers on Friday claiming he was hired to take photographs of the Mean Girls actress for her clothing label 6126, reports contactmusic.com.

In the documents, obtained by TMZ.com, Nathan alleges he was promised one percent interest from the fashion line in return for the images, but he has reportedly received nothing.

Nathan is also suing Universal Music Group for allegedly using one of his photographs on the cover of Lohan’s single “Bossy”.

He is seeking unspecified damages.

Lindsay Lohan might want to get some tips from It-Girl former jailbirds Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie before her next day in court, because it looks like she could be headed for jail.

Lindsay is currently on probation for a DUI charge, but she hasn't been showing up to her court-ordered alcohol education classes, according to reports.

The class administrators are obliged to tell the judge if their student is a no-show for more than 21 days in a row, so Lilo's been dodging the rule by turning up to class every 21 days.

But the judge's order was that she attend at least one class every seven days, so Lindsay is still violating the terms of her probation. ...And this isn't the first time.

Last time Lindsay was in court the judge made it very clear that if she slipped up again she'd be going to jail.

Since Lindsay Lohan's life continues to play out like Kevin Spacey's tongue on a Saturday night (plunging deeper and deeper down a dark, dirty hole), she has been dropped from a movie for being a liability. Brace your Twitter, because she's going to spit out a dozen "medeeea be lyin" Tweets any minute.

TMZ's sources say that the investors of the movie were biting their finger nails off over the thought of relying on Lindsay to show up for work every day. Instead of luring her to the set every day using a dog with an 8-ball tied to its tail, they decided to cut ties with her altogether. David Michaels, the director of The Other Side, tells TMZ, "Our team simply chose to move on from Lindsay and we'll soon be announcing a replacement."

Lilo was supposed to play a grad student who gets stranded on a deserted island with the likes of Alanis Morissette, Woody Harrelson, Giovani Ribisi and Dave Mathews. That shit would've been an all-star cast in 1999.

This sucks, because the only place Lilo should be right now (besides rehab or Daddy Spears' kitchen) is a deserted island. Although, knowing this bitch she'd find a field of fermented mangoes. Lindsay and Ali Lohan got screwed up by ex-dad

And it's time for another Michael Lohan media stunt.

Just this afternoon Lindsay's dad, under a surprisingly legitimate premise, managed to convince two sheriff deputies to go with him to Lindsay's house to check on her sister Ali, according to TMZ:

We're told Ali was in the apartment and deputies spoke with her. Deputies left and Ali was allowed to stay with Lindsay.
We're told Michael is now going to the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services, per the advice of the Sheriff's Department.
Sources say Michael made a "compelling case" to Sheriff's deputies -- we're told Michael told deputies Ali was in Lindsay's car on the way back from Coachella and the car was going over 100 mph.

In the meantime, Lindsay has been tweeting the whole thing. Of course:

Is this Game Over for Lindsay?

Six years after the cinematic release of Mean Girls, a video game based on the hit movie is due to hit stores and its star is nowhere to be seen.

Box art for the tie-in, to be released on Nintendo's handheld DS system, features the posse of bitchy high school teens known as the "Plastics" as played by Amanda Seyfried, Rachel McAdams and Lacey Chabert.

Players will guide Cady - the character made famous by Lindsay Lohan - in her quest to become prom queen when Mean Girls is released in the United States next week.

However despite her character being playable in the game, Lohan does not appear on the game's cover.

Rather than being a consequence of her trashy reputation, it is understood that the cost of licensing her image for the box art was too prohibitive.

The game will not feature the likenesses of Lohan or any of her co-stars.

Wildchild Lindsay Lohan is truly concerned about her father, Michael Lohan, 49, who suffered a minor heart attack on Tuesday, March 16.

Lohan has been in touch with her father over the phone. The two are known to have a volatile relationship, but it looks they have called a truce after Lohan Sr.’s health scare.

"I got a message from Lindsay which read, 'OMG. Hope you are okay' and my other kids have all been in contact with me too," he said, adding that a minor heart attack isn't going to take him down.

Lohan underwent an angioplasty to remove any blockages near his heart on Wednesday.

LOS ANGELES, CA (GlossyNews) — Troubled 23-year-old celebrity Lindsay Lohan has filed a lawsuit against E-Trade for allegedly using her name in its latest commercial about a boyfriend-stealing baby with a substance abuse problem. The substance in question being milk.

In the ad, which first ran during this year’s Super Bowl, an infant boy apologizes to his girlfriend over the phone for not calling her the night before.

“And that milkaholic Lindsay wasn’t over?” the girl asks before another baby girl appears on the screen saying, “Milk-a-whaaat?” in tones slurred to imply intoxication.

Stephanie Ovadia, Lohan’s current lawyer, said, “Many celebrities are known by one name only, and E-Trade is using that knowledge to profit. They’re using her name as a parody of her life. Why didn’t they use the name Susan?”

The spokesperson for Grey Group, which produced the “milkaholic” commercial, explained that they “avoided using the name Susan because we thought people would be reminded of Susan Dey from the Partridge Family. As a young actress, Dey had bouts of anorexia and bulimia, as well as a later period of alcohol abuse. Because she is so talented and beloved by so many, we decided to use a less emotional name — one that we thought most viewers would ignore or not care about. David Cassidy suggested we try the name ‘Lindsay’. It’s a very popular name, but one that isn’t really associated with a significant personality in the public eye.”

A production assistant on the shoot said, “They just used a popular baby name that happened to be the name of someone on the account team. Tragically, her daughter Lindsay truly is addicted to milk. It’s disgusting. She slurps it right out of the container. She bottles her own breast milk and drinks it at her desk. When there’s no milk left in the fridge, she tries to melt down cottage cheese. She has a real problem.”

Lindsay Lactor, the actual milkaholic, is now suing Lindsay Lohan for suing E-Trade because the exposure has made her own struggles with addiction an embarrassing public spectacle.

Lohan’s attorney brushed off the Lactor dispute and reiterated, “This is a subliminal message. Everybody’s talking about it and saying it’s Lindsay Lohan.”

The challenge for Lohan, however, is that prior to launching the suit, nobody thought about her at all. Legal experts say this may jeopardize her chances of getting the case before a judge. “Plus,” said one analyst, “if she gets in front of a judge, she might end up back in jail for outstanding warrants.”

Still, Lohan remains steadfast in seeking an injunction to force the spot off the air. She is also demanding $100 million in damages. “That should just about cover my drug debt through April,” Lohan posted on her Twitter page. Her three followers wished her luck.

Police on New York's Long Island say Michael Lohan was arrested Thursday morning and charged with criminal contempt. Police did not provide further details.

Ungaro named Marie Fournier its new general manager to oversee all operations. An 18-year veteran of the company, Fournier was previously Ungaro's vice-president in charge of business development and licensing. Before that, she had an eight-year career at Christian Dior.

Ungaro said Moufarrige, who has served as president since 2006, would continue to advise the company, but that he was "withdrawing" from an operational role to devote more time to other businesses, which include U-Boat and Welder, two fast-growing Italian watch companies.

"It's my decision. It's not a total departure, except for operational duties," Moufarrige said.

He waved off suggestions of discord with Ungaro's majority owner, Asim Abdullah, and noted his decision "has nothing to do with Lindsay Lohan at all. The strategy is set for Ungaro and that's it."

Moufarrige tapped Lohan as artistic adviser in September in a risky bid to jump-start rejuvenation at a house wracked by a revolving door of designers and lackluster collections. He teamed her with Spanish-born designer Estrella Archs.

He was right about the noise. His exit comes only a few months after Lohan and Archs showed a spring collection during Paris Fashion Week that set off a cacophony of reactions from critics and retail buyers that ranged from "very Los Angeles" to "cheesy" to "truly, deeply horrible."

There had been numerous reports, apparently unfounded, that Abdullah was thinking of dumping Lohan as a result of the negative reaction.

At Ungaro, Lohan and Archs succeeded Bogota, Colombia-born Esteban Cortazar, whose three collections failed to ignite interest.

Peter Dundas, who is now the designer at Emilio Pucci; Vincent Darre, now devoted to a signature furniture line, and Giambattista Valli, pursuing a signature label with Italy's Mariella Burani Fashion Group, preceded Cortazar as Ungaro designers following the retirement of its founding couturier in 2004.

The Mean Girls star, 23, had marks on her thigh, armpit and tattooed arms as she strolled along a beach last week for a photo-shoot.

Onlookers in San Diego, California, compared her to junkie singer Amy Winehouse who revealed her own gaunt, tattooed and scarred frame in the Caribbean earlier this year.

One fan said: "Lindsay could barely raise a smile and looked deep in thought as she played with her tousled hair. As for those body marks, I guess they'll need some real air brushing."

It's a far cry from the fresh-faced 12-year-old starlet who burst onto the screen in Disney's The Parent Trap. Since then, Lindsay has battled drugs, faced drink-driving raps and split with DJ lover Samantha Ronson, 31.

Lindsay blamed the marks on pole dancing lessons she has taken to prepare for her role as a stripper in thriller I Know Who Killed Me.

She said: "I have bruises all over. That's why I haven't worn shorts."

She is due to appear in a series of flicks in 2010 including Robert De Niro movie Machete.

Dina told NYPost.com that her daughter is a "changed woman." She added: "Lindsay definitely wants to give more back. We are now planning a trip to help the children of Guatemala -- which will be filmed by Oprah's network."

Apparently Lindsay was "humbled and moved" by her experience helping children in India, and she's adopted some causes as her own. She went to there for a documentary about child trafficking, but then got a little over exuberant in a series of posts on her Twitter page, in which she appeared to boast about her (non-existent) role in the actual raid that rescue the children:

“Over *40 children saved* so far…… Within one day’s work…… This is what life is about….. Doing THIS is a life worth living!!!” she said.

She later added: “Focusing on celebrities and lies is so disconcerting, when we can be changing the world one child at a time…. hope everyone can see that.”

But actually the raids, involved two months of planning by local police and magistrates, to rescue children as young as seven who were making mirrored ornaments for export in workshops in central New Delhi. And according to the charity Bachpan Bachao Andolan, which organized the raid, neither Lohan nor the BBC, were present at the time of the raids. The children were freed on Tuesday, hours before Lohan arrived in India and a day before she and her BBC3 film crew visited the Ashram rehabilitation center where the children were taken before being returned to their families.

A non-governmental organization in India, which works to eradicate child labor, has reportedly contradicted her to make the documentary so she might be getting paid to add insult to injury. Not to be cynical, but this India thing is all about her PR trying to clean up her image and Lohan just has to pretend she cares. Some celebrities just cannot get away from nasty rumors. Lindsay Lohan is at the top of that list. According to Us Weekly, less than a month ago, Lindsay was spotted at West Hollywood Hotspot, Villa, partying as usual. But she wasn’t alone; she was seen with film producer Cash Warren, Jessica Alba’s husband and baby daddy.

Jessica was absent from the club that night, which led to things getting a little scandalous — supposedly. Lindsay, reports the mag, was spotted making out with Cash. The bystander went on to say “Lip on tongue, it was raw. They were not shy!” It didn’t stop there, as another witness stated, “It was a shock to see the two of them kiss, but it was real.”

Lindsay denies the whole ordeal stating it's “absurd. He is married. I wouldn’t dare kiss him.” People close to them don’t seem to be in agreement with that night. Lindsay apparently “becomes easily attached to everyone she meets and gets close to… she’s falling for (Cash).” While a Cash confidant told Us Weekly, “Jessica is not as into Cash as she used to be.”

Lindsay isn’t shy to public scrutiny. Between car accidents, drug problems and highly public romantic relationships (lest we forget, she supposedly also swapped spit with Gerard Butler on Halloween), she’s had her hands full. This one seems to be on the fence, as Cash was partying without Jessica – but at the same time the multiple quotes from eyewitnesses seem a little too corny for my taste.

Lindsay Lohan has often taken her dirty laundry to air on Twitter, especially back in the days when she was still dating DJ Samantha Ronson. This could also explain why no one doubted the legitimacy of an account that seemed to belong to her father Michael, and that he used to announce his suicidal intents. Those posts have been deleted in the meantime, and Lohan’s attorneys are looking into the matter, PopEater informs.

Word of the worrying tweets emerged in the blogosphere late on Sunday, and quickly spread like wild fire. For the reason noted above, as well as because it’s a known fact that the Lohans have made somewhat of a habit of making all personal problems public, no one actually doubted that the tweets came from Michael Lohan himself. So, the world awaited confirmation that he had jumped off a bridge, as he said he would in one of the tweets.

“Fiance just left me. My whole family hates me. I spent Thanksgiving with my mo I just cant do any of this any more. The death of my father put me in a black hole idk what to do. Heading to the Brooklyn Bridge. Goodbye,” the supposed Michael Lohan wrote on his Twitter. He even left a message for Lindsay saying, “@LindsayLohan: love you. b ye.” Fortunately, as PopEater has found, none of that was true.
“Gossip blog Shabooty quickly cleared everything up, as they purportedly received an email from a very alive Michael Lohan disputing the Twitter posts. ‘This is not not not me. I do not have and never had a twitter and twitter’s corporate office confirms that. My lawyers are investigating,’ Lohan allegedly wrote to the gossip site. As far as PopEater can tell, that’s all true, as we’ve never seen a Twitter account linked to him,” the celebrity e-zine says.

Ironically enough, the Twitter page on which the so-called suicide notes were posted now shows a message from Michael Lohan himself, saying the same he said in the email, in more or less those words. “God would not approve,” Michael also says. As anyone can imagine, this has already generated some speculation as to whether the entire Twitter “controversy” was not just a publicity stunt devised by Lohan himself. Aging fashion house Ungaro thought Lindsay Lohan, with the kind of publicity she can generate without even breaking much of a sweat, was the perfect solution for their campaign of revamping the brand. As it turns out, Ungaro bosses have come to the conclusion that having Lohan as a creative advisor was a very bad business move, and are therefore about to terminate the collaboration with her, PageSix has learned.

When CEO Mounir Moufarrige announced the decision to take Lohan on board for the upcoming line back in September, he also expressed some doubts about the success of the collab but was nevertheless hopeful that it would raise the house’s profile in the media. This happened as expected but, unfortunately, it also implied Ungaro had to pay a high price in the resignation of designer Esteban Cortazar because of Lohan’s arrival on the scene.

Now, chairman Asim Abdullah is putting pressure on Moufarrige to kick Lindsay to the curb because Ungaro is starting to lose partners, PageSix says. “Asim wants her out now. Department stores in the States have already told him they won’t be picking up the line if Lohan remains a collaborator, so it’s a serious issue. [But] Mounir wants to keep her on because it was his idea to hire her in the first place. He’s trying to save face.” a well-placed source says for the publication, claiming to have seen e-mails going back and forth between the two on the subject.

“The terms of Lohan’s multiyear contract were not disclosed, though it is said to be worth seven figures. Earlier this month, Ungaro himself, who hasn’t had any contact with the house that bears his name since leaving in 2005, said of Lohan's debut collection, ‘I am furious, but I can’t do anything about it,’ adding that the label ‘is in the process of losing its soul’.” PageSix further writes.

Contacted for comment, a rep for the Ungaro fashion house insists the above report is not only absurd but also downright hilarious. This could mean that either Lindsay Lohan is doing a wonderful job as creative consultant or that trouble lies ahead but no one is yet ready to speak about it. Dina Lohan alleges the "Mean Girls" actress was romantically involved with the "Dark Knight" star when he died of an accidental drug overdose in January 2008 and has never fully recovered from his death.

Dina told Lindsay father Michael in a leaked phone call published on Radar Online: "And she was dating Heath when he died? I don't know if you know that, but I know because I would drop her off and they were friends very, very close, ok?"

Dina - who is divorced from Michael - fears Lindsay's reaction to Heath's tragic death is the cause of her many personal problems and may eventually prompt her to accidentally take her own life.

She said in the 2008 phone call: "When she's drunk or takes an Adderall with it she will do something like Heath Ledger did in a second without thinking.

"His death f***ed her up."

When Heath died it was revealed Lindsay had been left crushed by the news and had told friends she loved him.

LISBON — Hollywood bad girl Lindsay Lohan's first collection as artistic advisor for Emanuel Ungaro was a "disaster", the founder of the French couture house said here, local press reported.

"Lindsay Lohan's collaboration was a disaster," the designer said during a meeting on Monday night with the public at the international film festival in Estoril, near Lisbon.

"I am furious but I can't do anything about it," fumed the designer, who emphasised that he no longer had any contact with the house which bears his name since he left in 2005. The house now belongs to an American investment company.

Lohan, 23, whose drug habits and drink-driving conviction turned her into paparazzi fodder and wreaked havoc with her acting career, was named official muse to the prestigious house alongside Spanish designer Estrella Archs in September.

Their first catwalk collection together unveiled in Paris in October was panned by the international fashion press.

Ungaro said he regretted that the fashion house he started "is in the process of losing its soul."

"That happens to a lot of designers. We were the creators and patrons, responsible for the creation and destiny of our houses. But when we gave up our houses, we gave up our souls."

Nevada (US), Oct 29 : Hindus have urged Hollywood diva Lindsay Lohan to utilize her upcoming trip to India to 'reinvent' herself by spending some time in ashram (hermitage).

MTV Award winner American actress-singer-model Lindsay Dee Lohan (Mean Girls), 23, who has topped Maxim’s “Hot 100”, is heading to India to make a documentary on child trafficking for BBC Network.

Musician-actor Ben Lee (The Square) and actress Ione Skye (River’s Edge) reportedly had a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony in an ashram near Chennai in south India in the recent past. Grammy winner American singer-rapper-musician-producer Kanye West has been reportedly planning to spend about a month in Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry to seek spiritual guidance, reassess his life and turn it around.

Generally ashrams are located away from the crowds in forests or other places amidst natural surroundings which are suitable for meditation and spiritual instruction and find mention in Hindu scriptures.

The tabloid tandem is probably feeling more secure now that the guy accused of breaking into their respective homes and making off with some $170,000 in jewelry and clothes has been formally charged.

Nicholas Prugo, an 18-year-old SoCal native, was rung up today on two felony counts of residential burglary, according to a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office.

Prugo was busted Sept. 17 for allegedly nicking $43,000 in baubles from Chez Patridge and $128,000 in wardrobe and trinkets from Lohan Manor.

He is out now on $100,000 bail and scheduled to be arraigned Nov. 11. If convicted of the charges, he could face up to six years in the slammer.

Another woman, Rachel Lee, voluntarily surrendered to police after she was supposedly caught on security cameras attempting to enter Lohan's home. She has yet to be charged.

Star magazine is claiming that Lindsay Lohan is on the brink of death because of her out of control drug abuse, and that those close to her are worried that she may have passed the point of no return. Of course, the tabloids have been claiming this about Lindsay Lohan for the last two years, so we're not exactly sure how this qualifies as news...perhaps they were just sick of all the Gosselin covers.

A source close to Lindsay told Star, "She's a wreck, a mess, a disaster. She's an obituary waiting to happen." The source later said, "She's definitely hit rock bottom. The next level is six feet under."

Things apparently came to a head in Paris, where Lindsay Lohan received terrible reviews for the Ungaro fashion line on which she served as a creative consultant. Lohan reportedly abused vodka, cocaine, and prescription meds throughout her entire trip, with things only getting worse once the reviews started rolling in.

A source revealed, "She was crushed. Her eyes were red and puffy, and at one point she started shouting and tearing up." At some point, Lindsay allegedly passed out. A source explained, "Her friends had to get her out of there before things got any worse." We're not sure how things could get much worse, considering this Lindsay Lohan appearance included screaming, crying, and passing out. But we guess we should be grateful that Samantha Ronson wasn't present, or else this probably would have also included objects flying through the air...expensive, French objects.

If Michael Lohan is to believed, an intervention is just around the corner. Michael has recently spoken openly about his belief that Lindsay is addicted to prescription pills and that he's planning on staging an intervention along with the rest of her family. Michael claims he blabbers about all this to the press because he thinks it will force Lindsay to listen to him. Sure. Because that technique has worked wonders in the past.

LOS ANGELES — Lindsay Lohan has another date with a judge.

A judge in Beverly Hills, Calif., has ordered the "Mean Girls" star to appear at a court hearing Friday morning.

The 23-year-old actress was placed on three years of probation in 2007 after she pleaded guilty to two counts of being under the influence of cocaine, and no contest to two counts of drunken driving and one count of reckless driving. She spent 84 minutes in jail.

It is unclear why Lohan has been ordered to appear. The judge's order was made during a routine progress report Wednesday.

Court records show that no warrant has been issued, and they do not reflect a probation violation has occurred.

E-mails to Lohan's publicist and attorney were not immediately returned Thursday.

Troubled star Lindsay Lohan has rubbished reports of another jewellery scandal following rumours that she infuriated fashion bosses by failing to return loaned designer accessories.

The 'Mean Girls' star had reportedly left France without returning the pieces she had borrowed from jeweler Arielle de Pinto during Paris Fashion Week earlier this month, reported Contactmusic.

Now the 23-year-old star has taken to her Twitter page to brush off rumours that she stole the items.

"That's a lame lie. Especially considering the people at the company are my friends and we laughed at this," she wrote.

It's the third missing jewellery scandal Lohan has been caught up in this year. In June, editors at Britain's Elle magazine defended the star after pieces were stolen from her cover shoot for the publication.

Two months later, in August, a Beverly Hills jeweler had threatened to sue her if she didn't return the USD 2 million worth of gems he loaned her for an event.

The show—held in Paris last week—has been the talk of the town and the blogosphere. It was called a "hot mess," "disastrous," "cheesy and dated." It featured fly-away jackets revealing heart-shaped pasties. But the fashion skeptic can be forgiven for thinking, Designers send weird things down the runway all the time! Was the collection really that horrible? Or was Lindsay Lohan just the victim of fashion snobbery?

Rest assured, fashion skeptic: The collection was truly, deeply horrible. While snobbery did play a role in the reviews, it was only a supporting role.

Before I explain the particulars, I should note that I worked briefly as a design consultant to Ungaro in 2005, when the house was under different ownership, and that I didn't see the show. My comments are based on images and reviews in print and on the Web. But certain points are clear nonetheless.

There were several factors likely to irk fashion snobs, no matter the quality of design. For one, the show was held in the Carrousel du Louvre, a purpose-built venue under the museum that was opened by the French government and is adjacent to a shopping mall and food court. Although it's conveniently located, it's hardly the place for editors and retailers to strut their Manolos, and I can't think of a single show there that's ever been a blockbuster. Atmosphere is part of the fashion equation, demanding the tonier backdrop of, say, the Hôtel de Crillion (where Balenciaga showed this season), the soaring glass dome of the Grand Palais (Chanel's venue of choice), or the arty galleries of the Marais (Bernard Wilhem, Veronique Leroy).

Second, Lohan's anticipated walk down the runway reportedly caused more than the usual chaos at the door, which surely put the crowd in a bad mood before the show even started. Door frenzy can excite a fashion crowd—we love to walk past a red velvet rope, after all—but it invites insult if the clothes are not well above par. Fashion people will be pissed on, but only for glorious designs, big ideas, and newness. (Cult designer Rick Owens caused chaos at his show this season by double-booking his front row seats, but such a move suits his aggressive brand, and the crowd loved the clothes once the chaos died down.)

Lindsay Lohan’s debut fashion collection has been slammed by critics after it was shown for the first time at a Paris show. Her collaboration with clothes company Emanuel Ungaro was called “cheesy and dated” by one reporter.

Style.com wrote that the catwalk event: “devolved into a bad joke of a fashion show, one with questionable colour combinations, 'bad '80s' draped silk jackets and drop-crotch pants, old-fashioned and ill-judged fur stoles, and, yes, tasteless sequin pasties.”

At the end of the show Lohan and designer Estrella Archs hit the runway to soak up applause for their collection.

However LiLo then burst into tears when she realised that the fashionistas present weren’t too impressed.

She also told reporters designing the garms was “the hardest thing I’ve ever done.”

Lindsay Lohan and Beyonce fought it out for the biggest dressing room at F1 Rocks - and we lapped up the drama.

LiLo, who was hosting the event for Channel 4, had asked for the best dressing room in the house at Fort Canning, Singapore. But there was a small problem - so had Beyonce.

Bey wanted it decked out in white, with authentic local cushions, and a minimum of four lit mirrors.

SINGAPORE : From her debut in Disney’s remake of “The Parent Trap” when she was just 12 to her breakthrough role in the teen comedy “Mean Girls”, Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan has had her fair share of being in the spotlight and more.

Lohan was recently in Singapore to host the inaugural F1 Rocks, a three-day concert held in conjunction with the Singapore Grand Prix, featuring acts like Beyonce, No Doubt and the Black Eyed Peas. Despite being a last minute replacement over Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger who pulled out of hosting the F1 Rocks shows amid rumours she had split from McLaren F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, Lohan managed to stir up a quite a bit of attention herself.

Sharing her excitement with Primetime Morning, Lohan chimed, “I’ve never been to Singapore before and it’s really beautiful here. And I can’t wait to see all the performers and learn more about F1 and see all the racers.”

“I’ve actually worked with NASCAR for 'Herbie Fully Loaded' which I did with Disney. So I’m really excited to see everything going on.”

The 23-year-old has seen her hair share of controversy. Known to be a wild child, she has been previously arrested twice for driving under the influence and for drug possession.

Things however are looking up for Lohan now that she is the newly appointed creative adviser for fashion label Emanuel Ungaro and has just wrapped up filming for Robert Rodriguez's shoot-em-up flick “Machete” that co-stars Robert De Niro.

“It was really fun. I’ve never shot a gun before which was really scary which I did on my last day of filming.”

As for her new role in fashion, Lohan said that she was “excited” about going to Paris right after the series of F1 Rocks gigs to unveil her new collection on October 4.

Admitting that she does not care about the paparazzi invading her privacy, Lohan said she ignores them by “not paying attention” and is already “numb” to their flashing lights.

SINGAPORE : Hollywood starlet and paparazzi magnet Lindsay Lohan will step in for Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger to host F1 Rocks, organisers said.

"We got a call... saying Lindsay Lohan was really keen to come to Singapore," said Paul Morrison, chief executive officer of British-based events company All The Worlds, the concert promoter behind F1 Rocks.

While Morrison is baffled as to why the starlet is so keen on the hosting gig, we think it has something to do with gal pal and DJ Samantha Ronson who is also headed this way to spin at the Fuel Festival at Novus.

Scherzinger reportedly pulled out of F1 Rocks last week after splitting with her F1 driver boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, although the McLaren driver has repeatedly denied the break-up.

Besides Lohan, other considerations for the position included singer Katy Perry, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham as well as "a number of the Spices", said Morrison.

F1 Rocks, a three-day concert which is held in conjunction with the Formula One night race in Singapore, features big names like Beyonce, Black-Eyed Peas, No Doubt, Mando-pop artistes Jacky Cheung and A-Mei.

F1 Rocks kicks off Thursday and will be broadcast on television in 140 countries.

“Mean Girls” star Lindsay Lohan has denied that she was escorted off the premises of a New York hotel after a row with her on/off girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

According to Hollyscoop.com, Lohan, 23, was at the Bowery Hotel in Manhattan on September 17 when the fight with Ronson allegedly broke out, reports Contactmusic.

Police had to be called after the actress allegedly “threw a room service tray at what she thought was her girlfriend’s door”, and she was reportedly removed from the hotel grounds.

So, do we want the good news or the bad news first? Let’s start off slowly and have the good news. It seems that those rumors of burgled sex tapes were probably nothing. The Enquirer is reporting that, yes, of course Lindsay has a whole collection of photos of her and Sam Ronson, maybe other girls, and many men. It seems Lindsay can’t hookup with someone without taking a picture of the two of them in bed together. Anyway, it seems that this stash of photos was not taken in the burglary:

It’s totally weird that the burglars didn’t take the photos, isn’t it? Although I never really thought the photos/sex tapes were stolen, because we would have seen that stuff about two seconds after it was taken. But it is strange that the burglars went right for the $2 million in jewelry, rather than a classic investment in crackhead erotica. It’s a case for Sherlock Holmes, I swear. Or we could go the simplest theory - that Lindsay burgled herself (are there photos of that?!?):

In a stunning turn of events, it turns out Lindsay Lohan's neighbors actually hate being waken up at 4 AM by her and the paparazzi. Her neighbor told RadarOnline:

"The truth is that this is a very quiet neighborhood and there have been no break-ins apart from at Lindsay Lohan’s house. Since she moved in last November it has been a nightmare with all the paparazzi parking in our driveways waiting for her.

"This is a really narrow and winding street and I’m amazed there has not been a more serious accident. I’ve got nothing personal against her but she needs to find a home in a gated community with security at the main gate because all the residents are fed-up with the situation."

Lindsay Lohan might have had naughty pictures stolen. It seems that shoes and jewelry aren’t the only things that were taken when Lindsay’s house was robbed. Lindsay appears to be freaking out a little because what was taken is really, really bad for her.

Lindsay apparently kept track of some pictures and video of herself enjoying some extra curricular activities. According to the Chicago Sun Times:

Lindsay had a break in earlier this summer and the vandals were caught on her security tape. This time, the alarm wasn’t set to scare them off. Hmmmm, curious? According to TMZ:

Michael Lohan tells TMZ a safe was ripped off the wall and a couple of watches were taken. He believes it’s “an inside job” because the people that work for Lindsay failed to turn the alarm on. Lindsay appears on the cover of the September issue, and it sounds like Elle would have preferred not to work with her after all the stunts she pulled. This is consistent with the video Elle released of Lindsay’s photoshoot, in which the time is listed as 1:30 am and Elle UK creative director Marissa Bourke says “I think we waited 12 hours, which for me is kind of a record.” The magazine’s editor-in-chief Lorraine Candy is the newest name added to the never-ending list of people put off by the troubled starlet.
Candy revealed the 23-year-old actress had Elle magazine staffers running in circles around London trying to pin her down for the issue’s photo shoot and interview.
The story follows Lohan as she was pursued by photographers and recounts a tearful confrontation with off-again, on-again girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
“Lindsay Lohan wrote me a note during this month’s cover shoot,” Candy wrote in the new issue. “It read: ‘Let’s do it again some time.’ I’ve put it on my office wall because, in all honesty, I don’t know if I could.”

She adds, “This was the most unpredictable, and confusing shoot in my magazine career.

Candy’s harsh words are a sad reality for the actress, whose dwindling career is often overshadowed by her dramatic lifestyle.

She’s also still attached to a dance film called Dare to Love Me, and is set to film The Other Side with Giovanni Ribisi and Jason Lee, this fall. The film is written and directed by a Scientologist who is listed as a “clear,” David Michaels, and both Ribisi and Lee are Scientologists. Do you think the Scientologists will try to recruit Lohan? I have a hell of a lot of empathy for Lindsay Lohan. And you never hear me say that. But Lindsay has beaten the crap out of her hair over the years, in addition to living a pretty hard life – by choice. Thanks to frequent dye jobs and extensions (likely coupled with poor dietary standards and heavy alcohol and drug use) her hair is so thin that you can see her scalp. Whenever I see photos of Lindsay I’ve always been impressed with how thick and pretty her hair is, but it turns out that’s just because of all her extensions. Which is one of the best ways to make sure you keep on losing your hair – and of course it rarely looks good up close.

It’s lovely to think that Lindsay Lohan can still be saved. And while I don’t want to be overly pessimistic here, her family history and lack of basic intellect tell me it’s not likely to happen. And frankly Lindsay’s been doing this way too long without the serious consequences most of us would have suffered. Sure, she’s basically unemployable, but she still manages to rent out a $10,000 a month home and do nothing but shop with all of her limitless free time. The average person with Lindsay’s issues would probably struggle just to keep a roof over their head. Whatever consequences Lindsay has suffered, they’re not enough to get her to change her behavior. Which makes me think that nothing is, since all that’s left is jail… and the only thing worse.
